Upload your own textures once and they stay in your library, ready to drop onto any wall, floor, or ceiling in Coohom's **[3D home design software](https://www.coohom.com/case/3d-home-design-software)**. This guide walks through the upload steps and the settings that matter.

All individual users  

Upload Textures in Models
=========================

To upload your own Textures/Materials/Paints, you may:

1. Enter a certain project in **My Projects**.

2. Click**Models** on the left navigation bar to enter **Uploads** part.

3. Click **Upload** to go to the upload textures page.

4. Click **Upload Textures** to upload your texture by choosing from your computer.

* Hover your mouse above **Supported Formats** section to see file requirements.

5. Fill in all the required information. (Set the category carefully, it may affect the rendering).

6. The measurement unit in mapping dimension is matching with what you set in the preference. Please make sure the dimension is aligned with the model measurement. If you need apply same texture on different items, please upload few different measurements for same texture.

7. Click **Upload Textures**.

8. After successful upload, you can drag and use it in the design tool.

Notes
=====

For individual users, they can only upload material as texture to use on wall/floor/ceiling which does not have paving parameters. To upload paving to edit related parameters, users need to upgrade to Enterprise account.
