1. System variablesSystem variables: The system presets parameters for different functions in front-end tools according to different categories. The current values can be modified, and the modified parameters can be edited in the front-end tools.The system variables under different categories are different, and there are no system variables under some categories. For example, the system variable under the cabinet category is ground clearance (the height of the cabinet from the ground), the door panel category includes door opening direction, handle position, handle direction, etc., and there is no system variable under the space combination category. The following picture shows the door panel System variables of the category.
2. Custom variables2.1 The meaning of custom variablesCustom variables: parameters used to control the model size, material, and structure.Under each category, there are 4 parameters that come with the system, 3 size parameters variable-width W, depth D, height H, and 1 material parameter variable CZ. W corresponds to the size of the X-axis in the coordinate system, D corresponds to the size of the Y-axis in the coordinate system, and H corresponds to the size of the Z-axis in the coordinate system. The corresponding relationship does not change with the rotation of the model. CZ corresponds to the default material of the model can be selected from the uploaded material.Each parameter variable has two attributes, a name, and a reference name. The reference name is referenced when modeling, and the name displayed in the front-end tool;2.2 Advanced parametersAdditional parameters: through the "plus" on the right of the custom variable, additional parameters can be added independently, and the additional parameters are displayed under the advanced parameters of the front-end tool;Name: the name of the parameter, a combination of text, letters, numbers, or a single one;Quotation name: It is quoted during modeling. It can only be a letter or a combination of letters and numbers, and the first letter must be a letter;Parameter type: Floating point number-represents a continuously changing value with a decimal point;String-the content filled in is text;Value type: interval-an interval range is composed of the minimum and maximum values, and the parameter value must be in this range;Optional-given optional value, when the front-end tool adjusts the parameter, it can only be selected in the available options under the drop-down menu;Hidden conditions: Judge by the set conditions under which conditions the parameters are hidden in the tool;Modifiable: Used to judge whether the parameter can be modified in the tool. If you choose No, the parameter will be grayed out in the tool and cannot be modified.Recommended value: Several common values are recommended, which are displayed in the form of a drop-down bar in the front-end tool;Current value: the default value, which must be within the set parameter range or one of the options;
3. Intermediate variablesIntermediate variables are for modeling convenience and will not be displayed in front-end tools. Mainly used for process parameters. For example, the backplane indentation value is represented by an intermediate variable. When you need to change this parameter later, you can directly modify and save it in the left column of the editor. If you don’t use the intermediate variable, you must find each process value related to the backplane. The board is modified and saved as a re-stocking operation.4. Report variablesThe report variable can read the attribute value of the sub-component as the current value of the report variable. When the non-editor settings such as the quotation, model, and code of the model need to be changed according to the attributes of the sub-model, the report variable can read the attributes of the sub-model, And serve as the basis for changes in quotations, models, and codes. As shown in the figure below, read the name of the door core through the report variable.
