General Quotation is a service for product pricing capabilities, offering more comprehensive and open pricing setup capabilities compared to the original custom quotation capabilities.
Enterprise users with relevant permissions. If you need it, please contact CSC for consultation.
Step One: Enter the Workspace and select "Enterprise Catalog - Custom Products - Product Catalog - Advanced".
Step Two: In advanced configuration, select "General Quotation".
Enter the General Quotation, select "General Quotation - Quote Configuration", open "Enable general quote configuration", once enabled, the general quotation configuration will be used for quotation calculation, including finished and custom products.
Select "General Quotation - Quote Configuration", choose "Public Treasury/Supply Chain Library", upon enabling the corresponding configuration, after designing in the corresponding library, quotation can be made and reference to external public library or supply chain library quotation systems can be selected.
Select "General Quotation - Quote Configuration", then click the dropdown arrow for the unified control of quantity/amount precision option. You can choose 0, 0.0, 0.00, 0.000, or Unlimited. Once configured, calculations in the front-end design tool will be rounded according to the selected precision.
Go to the merchant backend and select “General Quotation - Quotation Configuration.” Turn on the “Compatible Custom Quotation 1.0” switch. After enabling it, you can choose to use the old version of the custom quotation in the tool’s frontend
First step: Click Add New Group, name the group.
Second step: Click "Create a Quote Category" in the new group bar, complete the creation and naming of the quote classification under the group.
The quote classification applied to the price list needs to be maintained in the price list, after maintenance, and the relationship with the measurement quotation category can be viewed in the "Associated Price List" of the quantity quotation classification.
In the quotation category settings, users can define classification filter conditions. In the filter conditions, we support basic information of the material, custom fields (original product 1.0, model information of the enterprise product catalog), and are also compatible with the basic field information of product 2.0.
In the category filter conditions, click the plus sign to create a condition group, and under the condition group, you can continue to create conditions or condition groups, up to three levels can be created, and multiple conditions can be set and defined to relate as “or” and “and”.
Among them, custom material fields and model variables support referencing product custom fields and modeling parameters, with variable-to-variable correspondence defined by reference name.
Select "General Quotation - Price List", click "Create a Price List" at the top right corner.
Set the basic information, quantity rules, price information, and supplementary quotation rules for the new price list. Below is an introduction to the four core components of the price list:
Define the name of the price list, associated quote category, effective tool, effective product catalog, and supplementary remarks. The effective tool will affect the products entering the current price list. For instance, if a product is in multiple tools, and the price list specifies that only closet products will be calculated, then the same kitchen&bathroom product will not be calculated.
a. Quantity Rules Detailed Description
① Default Logic When Not Maintained
When there is no data in the calculation details, it is processed by the number of items (where virtual hardware is calculated by the quantity presented in the project), using the unit of the item (item catalog unit overrides company product catalog unit).
② Formula Compilation
Use formulas to define quantity calculation rules, supporting different calculation results through conditional expressions.
③ Unit Settings
Support user-specified units or custom ones.
b. Price Rules Detailed Description
Factors influencing the quoted amount include material, substrate, and board thickness. There are two output amounts. Maintenance can be performed according to the following steps:
Step 1: Click "Manage Quote Properties", in the quote properties management, add influencing variables for quote amount: material serial number, material substrate, board thickness.
Step 2: Select "New Properties", define the property name (for list view), attribute classification (obtain corresponding data source according to attribute characteristics), field type (define it as string/numeric/boolean, different types participate in different conditional judgments), reference name (input reference name for model variables etc.), expression.
Note: When choosing an expression, the # variable and condition judgment sentence can be used to define which variable to use, for example, to choose the larger variable value between W and H: #W>#H ? W:H.
Step 3: Click "Manage Price Categories", set the existing price items: Factory Settlement Price, National Retail Price.
Step 4: Set detailed price rules. If no conditions are input, it means not participating in condition judgment. Judgment is performed sequentially from top to bottom until the condition is met or executed completely. If not successfully matched, the amount is 0.
c. Supplementary Quotation Rules Detailed Description
For some general quote influencing factors, they can be explained in supplementary quote rules, such as irregular price increases or oversized coefficients. Examples are as follows:
1. Membrane pressed flat door (SYMX101) 2400<=H<=2700mm requires special customization, factory price increases by 80 yuan/m2 per square.2. An additional process fee of 10 yuan/per piece for door panel opening with embedded handle groove.
For the content in the examples, supplementary quote rules can be applied:
After the price list is created, you can view details, edit, and delete in the price list.
1. For products of the same category with the same quote influencing factors and rules, they can be classified into the same quote category and specifically split and defined in the price rules.
2. For finished products that cannot be categorized, you can create a fixed unit price category. Finished products can be uniformly classified, and in the price list's price rules, unit prices can be defined using product models or other methods. At this time, both direct input of amounts and simple expressions can be input, clearly showing the pricing content.
After completing all the price lists, you can define front-end design tool available price lists in the quotation system.
To create a quotation system, you can choose to Create a New Quotation System, and set up the basic information yourself, or choose Create Template, to quickly copy from externally available standard templates, synchronizing the quantity estimation and quotation classification, price list, and quotation system during the copy, reducing maintenance costs.
a. Create a New Quotation System
Step One: Select "General Quotation - Quotation System", click "Create a Quotation System - New" on the top right.
Step Two: Enter the price system settings interface, set System Name, Effective Time, Effective Tool Line.
b. Select Create Template
Step One: Select "General Quotation - Quotation System", click "Create a Quotation System - Select Create Template" on the top right.
Step Two: Choose a template from the quotation system template library and click Use.
Step Three: Modify System Name, Effective Time, Effective Tool Line based on the template's basic information, and click Keep after adjustments.
Step One: Click "Add a New Associated Price List", the quotation system allows association with multiple price lists, users can add maintained price lists as needed.
Step Two: When adding, select the published price list and define the unit price category applied by the quotation system (the cost price will be output by default, the unit price category affects which specific amount the output unit price takes), applicable where different people require different unit prices.
Step Three: After completing the association, as pricing categories use rule matching, a model may match multiple successfully, so users need to define priority relationships among price lists. During conflicts, the system will use the price list with higher priority.
After completing the above settings, releasing operations need to be done in the list. Once completed, the quotation system can be used for quoting at the front-end design tool.
Users can set role visibility for the quotation system. Once set, only personnel within the role range can use the corresponding quotation system at the front-end design tool.
Step One: Click the quotation system to be set, then click Edit on the top-right of the pop-up page.
Step Two: Click Edit following the role range and choose the corresponding role in the pop-up panel, then click OK.
Step Three: Click Keep on the top-right (after setting, only personnel within the role range can use the corresponding quotation system at the front-end design tool).
When there are scenarios of quoting by order in the enterprise, you can use the Additional Quotation of the Entire Order feature to supplement the quotation.
Take as an example the scenario of gifting a drawer for every 2.5 square meters, with any excess charged at 40 yuan per piece. In this scenario, we need to define the quotation system for gifting drawers when the square area in the scheme reaches multiples of 2.5, thus we can achieve the statistics of the square area and drawer count of the entire scheme via Aggregation Rules.
Step One: Enter aggregation rules, where you can summarize and statistically any scheme dimensional data, click Creating Aggregation Rules on the top right, to define summary fields.
Step Two: Define aggregation rules, selecting according to need to statistically according to model dimension or scheme dimension, if selecting model dimension, you need to define the scope (filter rules), filter rules can refer to quotation classification.
After completing the model filtering, you can further define statistical variables, for instance, summarize cabinet linear meter, cabinet area summation, etc., or define the expression value as #quantity, indicating a quantity summation. In this scenario, we can define Area for cabinet total area, and counta for drawer quantity.
Step Three: After completion, go to the quotation system, use the defined aggregation variables, select applicable entire order/model objects, and define calculation formula.
In the earlier case, we can define the trigger condition as [#counta-#floor(#Area/2.5)>0 ], with total price increment as [40*#counta-#floor(#Area/2.5) ], thus achieving the demand for drawer excess quotation.
Step Four: The contents of the additional quotation for the entire order will be reflected in the total price and can be viewed in detail through viewing the detailed supplement quotation in the JSON.
