【Workspace】Supports Product Authorization

Target users:

All enterprise users

Applicable Scenarios:

In order to better share their products with partners, enterprises wish to copy their products from their own product libraries to other enterprises' product libraries, allowing those enterprises relatively free usage of the related products.

After:

With the launch of Coohom's product authorization feature, enterprise users can now authorize their products for use by other enterprises. Depending on actual needs, they can also grant the authorized enterprises independent editing permissions for the respective products, enabling them to maintain product information independently.
The authorized products in the recipient enterprises can be managed just like regular products, assigned to their own folders and libraries.

· How to use:

1. Product Owner Authorizes Products to Other Enterprises:

1.1 Feature Entry

Go to Product Authorization under the Enterprise Catalog, then click "Initiate authorization."

1.2 Fill in Authorization Information

Enter the authorized party’s email, select the product type to authorize, and choose which fields are editable by the authorized party (if checked, the authorized party can independently modify the corresponding fields without affecting the product owner’s own product information).

1.3 Select Products for Authorization

Supports selection by folder or by individual products. After selection, click "Authorize" to complete the authorization.

2. Authorized Party Accepts the Authorized Products

2.1 Accept Authorized Products:

If someone has initiated an authorization to you, you can go to the Product Authorization module, click the corresponding authorization record, then click "Accept" to add the authorized products into your Enterprise Catalog.

3. Authorized Party Sets Up Automatic Acceptance:

If you don’t want to manually accept authorized products each time, you can go to the "Authorize me" tab under Product Authorization in Enterprise Catalog, click "Receiving settings," and choose "The system automatically receives."
However, Kitchen, Bath, Closet, and Windows & Doors products must be accepted manually and cannot be automatically accepted.
