[Enterprise] Panel Quotation Settings

Panel quotation is calculated by width × depth × unit price. You can also configure quotation flexibly based on material, non-standard coefficients, and additional fees. This article explains the complete workflow for setting up panel quotation categories, quotation rules, associations, and test validation in the enterprise admin.

For Users

Enterprise administrator

Enterprise sub-accounts must be assigned a role such as Kitchen and Bath/Custom Furniture/Door and Window Product and Quotation Admin by the administrator. Once assigned, the sub-account can use pricing-related features.

Quotation Settings

Example scenario: Enterprise XX prices solid wood panels at 500/square meter and painted panels at 300/square meter. This article uses panels in component mode as an example. The steps are the same for panel quotation settings in both the semi-finished product library and the component library.

Entrance

In the enterprise backend, go to Enterprise Catalog — Custom Products — Product Catalog — Kitchen & Bath/Custom Furniture — Advanced — Quote to enter the quote page.

Create a Quotation Category

1. Click Model Quotation Rule — Quotation Category. In the pop-up panel, select ModelQuotation Category — Add a Category, enter a Category Name, and click Confirm.

2. Click MaterialQuotation Category — Add a Category, enter a Category Name, and click Confirm (e.g., Solid Wood, Lacquer).

Create a Quotation Rule

1. Click Create New Quotation Rule in the upper-right corner to open the quotation rule settings window.

2. In the quotation rule window, define the quotation rule for the panel. Fields marked with “*” are required. The material quotation category is optional. If quotation does not change by material, you do not need to select one. In this example, two material quotation are used. In an actual setup, create one quotation rule for each material quotation.

Following the steps above, define the quotation rule for lacquered boards.

The final model price = unit price * quantity * non - standard coefficient * department coefficient+ additional cost.
The rule name is the name of the current quotation rule. It does not need to match the quotation category name.
The material quotation category is optional. Set up separate rules when model pricing depends on the material; otherwise, leave it blank.
The Sale Unit Price can be a formula or a constant, and supports conditional statements.
The Quantity can be a formula or a constant. Here, Quantity refers to the panel area. Note that the W, D, H referenced in the quotation formula correspond to the model's Output Width, Output Depth, and Output Height, not the physical dimensions of the model. Therefore, you need to modify the output properties for panels in different directions. This allows you to use one set of quotation rules. The following is an example of quotation output settings for common panel models:

Quote output settings for flat panels: shelves, top panels, bottom panels.
Quote output settings for vertical panels: center vertical panels, side panels.
Quote output settings for horizontal panels: back panels, front rails, toe kicks.

The Unit in the editor is MM. Pay attention to unit conversion when using it.
The Non-Standard Coefficient is a multiplier applied to the base price. It defaults to 1 if left blank.
The Additional Fee is an extra charge added to the base price. You can include costs for craftsmanship, labor, etc., here.
- We recommend entering the panel thickness as the output height, the dimension along the grain direction as the output width, and the dimension perpendicular to the grain direction as the output depth. This matches the correct physical properties of a cuboid.

Associate Quotation Categories with Materials and Models

1. In the product catalog, find the panel you want to price and open its product details page. Click Edit, select the pricing category you just created under Quotation, and then click Save in the upper-right corner.

2. In merchant backend, find the material you want to price. If multiple materials have the same price, select multiple materials in the same category and click Batch Edit, then select the corresponding material Quote Type.

Use the same method to set the quotation category for lacquer finish textures.

Test and Download the List

1. After the associations are complete, return to the quote page. Select the quotation rule and click Batch Verification at the top. If the check result shows Normal, the rule can be used in the tool.

2. In the custom tool, drag the panel model with the quotation category into the scene, change its size and material, and then generate the Custom Furniture Quotes to check whether the quotation is correct.

Notes

If the model you drag into the scene does not have a quotation, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

There is a delay between backend and frontend data. After you add a quotation category, wait for the frontend data to sync.
The model you dragged into the scene is not associated with a model quotation category.
The current material is not associated with the material category defined in the quotation rule. Replace it with a material that has a quotation category set.
