[Enterprise] Substrate Quotation Settings

Different base materials can use different prices. This article explains how to set prices based on base material.

For Users

Enterprise administrator

Enterprise sub-accounts must be assigned a role such as Kitchen and Bath/Custom Furniture/Door and Window Product and Quotation Admin by the administrator. Once assigned, the sub-account can use pricing-related features.

Feature overview

You can configure different prices for different base materials in two ways. See the details below:

Method 1

Upload Assets

In the enterprise backend, click Enterprise Catalog — Custom Products — Product Catalog — Kitchen & Bath/Custom Furniture—Create Asset—Materials. Select and upload the required images, enter the information, click Create, and then set the save location as needed.

Set up Quotes

1. In the product catalog, click Kitchen & Bath/Custom Furniture — Advanced — Quote to open the quote page.

2. Click the Quote Category in the upper-right corner. In the pop-up panel, select Model Quotation Category—Add a Category, enter the Category Name, and click Confirm. Next, click Material Quotation Category, and create two different material categories as needed. Example: Particle Board and Composite.

3. Click Create a New Quotation Rule in the upper-right corner, and create two quote rules that use different base materials.

Link Quote Information to Panels and Materials

After setup is complete, link the product to the corresponding Quote Type on the product details page.

Validate Quote Rules

After the links are complete, return to the quote page, select the quote rules, and click Batch Verification at the top. If the verification result is normal, the rules can be used in the design tool.

Use in the Design Tool

In the design tool, drag the panel with the quote category configured into the cabinet, replace it with a material that has quote settings, and then generate a custom quote list to view the details.

Method 2

Set Product Base Materials

Upload assets in the same way as Method 1. After the upload succeeds, click the corresponding product to open the product details page, click Edit, set Substrate to Particle and Composite respectively, and then click Save.

Set up Quotes

1. In the product catalog, click Kitchen & Bath/Custom Furniture — Advanced — Quote to open the quote page.

2. Click Quotation Category in the upper-right corner, and create categories as needed in the pop-up panel.

3. Click Create a New Quotation Rule in the upper-right corner, and configure the quote rule in the pop-up panel.
