[Enterprise] Drawer Quotation Settings

A drawer quote usually consists of three parts: the drawer box, drawer front, and handle. Calculate the quotation for each part, then add them together to get the total drawer quote. This article explains how to set up drawer quotation.

For Users

Enterprise Administrator

Enterprise sub-accounts must be assigned a role such as Kitchen and Bath/Custom Furniture/Door and Window Product and Quotation Admin by the administrator. Once assigned, the sub-account can use pricing-related features.

Notes Before Setting Up

1. Drawer boxes can be quoted by unfolded area, by quantity, or by different depths.

2. Quotation for drawer fronts can be configured in the same manner as quotation for cabinet doors. Handles are hardware items and can be priced directly like other hardware accessories.

3. If quotation has already been set for panel components, select “No” here. If no panel component quotation has been set, you do not need to make a selection.

Quotation Setup

Example: Quotation is currently based on different depths. Drawer box depth 250, unit price 300; drawer box depth 300, unit price 350; drawer box depth 350, unit price 400; drawer box depth 400, unit price 450; drawer box depth 450, unit price 500; drawer box depth 500, unit price 550; drawer box depth 550, unit price 600; drawer box depth 600, unit price 650. Drawer front unit price: 500 yuan/m². Handle price: 20 yuan each.

Entrance

In the enterprise backend, go to Enterprise Catalog — Custom Products — Product Catalog — Kitchen & Bath/Custom Furniture — Advanced — Quote to enter the custom quote page.

Create a Quotation Category

Click Model Quotation Rule—Quotation Category. In the panel that appears, select Model Quotation Category—Add a Category, enter the Category Name, and click Confirm (if there are multiple material prices, select material quotation category and create the corresponding number of quotation categories).

Create a Quotation Rule

1. Click Create a New Quotation Rule in the upper-right corner to open the quotation rule settings window.

2. Define the panel component quotation rule in the pop-up window. Options marked with “*” are required. Material Quotation Category is optional. If the price does not vary by material, you can skip this field.

① First, set an intermediate variable in the drawer box model.

② Create a quotation rule for the drawer box and link the unit price to the parameter you set.

③ Set the pricing rule for the drawer front.

The final model price = unit price * quantity * non - standard coefficient * department coefficient+ additional cost.
The rule name is the name of the current quotation rule. It can be the same as or different from the quotation category name.
Material Quotation Category is optional. Use it when the model price depends on the material. Otherwise, leave it blank.
The Sale Unit Price can be a formula or a constant, and supports conditional statements.
Quantity can be a formula or a constant. Here, quantity refers to the panel component area. Note that WDH referenced in the pricing formula corresponds to the output width, output depth, and output height in the model, not the width, depth, and height in the model’s physical properties. Output width, output depth, and output height can be customized as needed.
The Unit in the editor is MM. Pay attention to unit conversion when using it.
The Non-standard Coefficient is multiplied by the original quote. If left blank, the default value is 1.
Additional fees are extra fees added to the original quote, such as labor and process costs.

Link the Quotation Category to the Corresponding Model

1. In the enterprise backend, click the drawer box/drawer front that requires quotation to open the product details page. Click Edit in the upper-right corner, set the Quotation, and then click Save.

2. Handles and hardware can be priced directly on the product details page.

Test and Download the List

1. After completing the quotation setup, return to the quote page, select the rules you configured, and click Batch Verification. If the result shows normal, the rules can be used normally in the design tool.

2. In the custom design tool, drag the drawer with the quotation category set into the scene, modify the depth (install the hardware), and then generate the quotation list to check whether the quotation is correct.

⭐Tip: If the model you drag into the scene does not show a quote, possible causes include:

There is a cache delay between backend and frontend data. After adding a quotation category, wait for the frontend data to sync.
The model you dragged in is not linked to a model quotation category.
