Upload 3D decoration models in the enterprise backend. After a model is uploaded successfully, it can be used directly in the design tool to add furnishing details and quickly render the intended design.
Enterprise users
1. There are no redundant models in the max file, that is, only the models that need to be uploaded in the file (excess models will cause upload failure).
2. The model must be located at the center point in 3ds Max.
3. The .max file must be smaller than 200 MB.
4. The number of polygons of the model should not exceed 800,000 polygons (press '7' to view after all converted to editable meshes).
5. The model unit must be mm. Path: Customize menu - Unit Setup.
6. The model size in the scene must not exceed 10 meters.
7. Supported texture formats are jpg, png, and tif. The color mode must be RGB, and the pixel size of each texture file must not exceed 5000.
1. Ornament: Use this category for models that can be dragged directly from the left sidebar into a scene in the tool. This category includes items placed in a space, such as hanging clothes and hats, hanging pants, folded clothing, jewelry, shoes and hats, bags, stationery, tea sets, wine sets, and throw pillows.
2. Handles: Use this category to upload handle models (pay attention to the margin parameter of the handle, if you don't fill it in, use the default parameters 30, 30).
3. WIP Component: Models uploaded to this category are not displayed directly on the front end. They are used when modeling in the editor. In principle, all models used in the editor, except handles, should be uploaded to this category.
4. Other rendering categories correspond to their category names. Select the appropriate category based on the model's function.
1. In enterprise backend, click Enterprise Catalog—Custom Products—Product Catalog—Custom Furniture/Kitchen & Bath—Create Asset—3D Model.
2. Click Upload, or drag a file here to upload it.
3. Set the Name, Category, and other related information.
4. Finally, select the folders where the decor item will be saved, click Save, and then click Submit.
5. After successful submission, it can be used in the corresponding customization tool line of the design tool.
