Point clouds displayed in the design tool may have holes, which is a normal phenomenon. These point clouds are only for design reference, and the final rendered effect will present high-definition realism.
1. In the design tool, click on the left panel Room—3DGS Import.
2. There are two modes of 3DGS Import: Upload Image and Upload 3D Gaussian File.
1. On the real scene import page, you can Upload Images/Panorama by click upload and selecting the images you want to upload from the pop-up panel, then clicking Open (you can also directly drag images here to upload).
a. Regular Images:
Camera Height: 1.3 meters~1.6 meters
Camera Orientation: Position the camera with its back against one wall of the space, perpendicular to the opposite wall, shoot horizontally.
b. Panoramic images:
Must be fisheye panoramic images (using professional panoramic image shooting devices, not smartphone panoramic images)
Camera Orientation: Position the camera near the center of the space, perpendicular to any wall, shoot horizontally.
Camera Height: 1.4 meters
(adjust flexibly based on the content captured at different heights and camera positions)
2. After uploading successfully, images will be automatically identified as panoramas or single images (manual modifications are allowed if errors occur). Then choose whether to clean soft furnishings and custom furniture (example shows disabled). After setup, click on Start.
3. Floor plans and point clouds will be generated as shown below:
4. After generating point clouds, the top panel allows configuration of Room Height. Additionally, verify the orientation of the floor plan on the XY Plane. If incorrect, adjust using lower-right rotating axes and the top Rotate tool.
