Opsi: Temukan dan hapus elemen lain, lalu sisakan hanya elemen yang diperlukan.
2. Model memiliki elemen yang tidak efektif. (Mengacu pada spline yang menempel pada model tetapi tidak langsung terlihat)
Opsi: Tekan tombol J untuk memilih model dengan seleksi kotak, periksa tampilan, lalu pisahkan dan hapus.

Opsi: Klik dan pilih berdasarkan nama untuk memilih, lalu hapus.
Semua opsi memerlukan proses untuk menemukan dan menghapus elemen tambahan. Berikut cara menemukan elemen tambahan tersebut.
Langkah 1: Klik kanan di viewport Max untuk membuka bilah menu, lalu jalankan perintah "Unhide All" dan "Unfreeze All" secara berurutan.
Langkah 2: Pilih tampilan depan 【tombol pintasan F】, lalu tekan Ctrl + A untuk memilih semua. Kemudian klik maksimalkan tampilan. Periksa juga tampilan atas 【tombol pintasan T】.
Jika tampilan hanya menampilkan model, berarti tidak ada elemen lain. Jika ada elemen lain, tampilannya seperti contoh berikut.
Pilih dan hapus elemen tersebut saat ditemukan. Jika ada elemen kecil yang tidak terlihat, pilih model yang diperlukan, klik kanan tampilan, lalu pilih "Freeze Selection".
Setelah dibekukan, pilih semua dengan Ctrl + A. Dengan cara ini, model yang diperlukan tidak dapat dipilih, dan hanya elemen berlebih yang terpilih. Setelah itu, tekan Delete.
Untuk elemen yang tidak efektif, metode di atas terkadang tidak dapat menyelesaikan masalah. Lanjutkan ke langkah berikutnya untuk memeriksa.
Pilih model, tekan J untuk menampilkan garis luar, lalu periksa apakah garis luar menutup model dengan rapat.
Jika garis luar menutup model, kondisinya normal. Jika belum yakin, Anda dapat memeriksa dengan cara berikut.
Klik "Use Utilities"→"Reset XForm"→"Reset Selected".
Ciri elemen yang tidak efektif ditampilkan seperti berikut.
Opsinya adalah mengonversi model menjadi editable mesh terlebih dahulu.
Setelah elemen dipilih, klik bagian yang diperlukan, pisahkan, lalu tekan Delete.
Setelah diperiksa kembali, kondisinya sudah normal.
Jika masalah ini tidak ditemukan di seluruh model, periksa apakah ada modifier yang telah diterapkan.
Beberapa perintah modifier tidak selalu menyebabkan masalah ini. Untuk memeriksa model yang bermasalah, perintah tersebut tidak akan hilang setelah dikonversi menjadi editable mesh, seperti perintah umum Hair, dll.
