In the Original Material Library, you only need to upload a material image to publish a newly created material simultaneously across various industries, including furniture, paving, Kitchen & Bath and Closet, significantly saving time and effort for material maintenance. This document will give you a detailed explanation of how to create a material in the Original Material Library.
For Users
Enterprise users with the "Original Material Library" function enabled.
Prerequisites
You need to contact your CSC to try or purchase services related to the "Original Material Library".
Create a New Material and Publish
Once the function is enabled, you can directly create a new original material.
1. Create an Original Material
Enter the Workspace, select "Enterprise Catalog - Original Material Library", click [Create an Original Material], and enter the material creation tool.

2. Replace Material Textures
First, select the type of material from the left panel, then adjust the texture and color, and effect properties of the material on the right panel according to specific needs.

3. Save Original Materials
After completing material property editing, click Save to supplement the remaining material information.

4. Publish Original Materials
Once the original material is created, it cannot be directly used in the tool. You need to select these original materials and publish them to the required industry.

2. Set the Merchandise Library and Folder where the published material is located, then click Next Step after setting.

3. Set the Rendering Classification of the published material, then click Release after setting.

You can also extract materials from existing materials into the Original Material Library and send them to other industries.
1. Select a Non-Original Material
From any industry in the Enterprise Catalog, select one or more existing materials, click Bulk Action/Edit, then select Material Extraction.
As shown below, it demonstrates the material extraction methods for Textures, Paving, and Custom Product Catalog.
