When drawing walls, you can use functions such as wall connection, splitting, alignment, etc., to quickly create floor plans and improve drawing efficiency.

Entrance
Entrance 1: In the floor plan tool, hover the mouse over the top Edit , then select Merge/Split/Align.

Entrance 2: Select the wall, then click Split/Merge in the floating window.

Split the Wall
One-click Slice
1. Select the wall, click the One-click Slice button in the floating window, and you will see a complete wall divided into two sections.

2. If you want to quickly split all walls of a floor plan, hold the shift/⇧ key to select all walls, and then click the floating window's One-click Slice button. You will see all walls of the floor plan have been split successfully.

Split
Select a wall, click Split in the floating window. Move the splitting tool onto the wall where a blue dividing line will appear. Click the left mouse button to split, or input the desired splitting distance in the input box and press Enter to complete the split. (Note: Endpoints at wall connections cannot be split.)

Set Walls to Auto-Split When Intersecting
1. Click your avatar at the top-right corner, select Preferences, and in the pop-up panel, click on the Floor Plan, then set the Wall Intersect Split to Auto.Then click Close in the top-right corner.


2. Once set, redraw walls on the canvas. You will see all intersecting walls are automatically split, but pre-existing walls are unaffected.

Merge the Wall
Walls with equal width at both ends and aligned on the same horizontal line can be connected by Double Click to Connect Wall. (Note: Walls with inconsistent thickness, height, or bearing types cannot be connected.)

- You can also select a wall, click the Merge button in the floating window, then Select Neighbor Object, and it will connect automatically.

Align the Wall
1. Select a wall and directly move it to the target position.

2. Click Edit in the top toolbar, select Align, then Select the Line that Needs to Aligned, and Select the Aligned Line. You will see both walls aligned perfectly.
